PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Adult Softball program is a recreational league for ages 18 and older. (Players must be 18 as of May 1, 2024.) Spring Games begin in mid-May and run through mid-August. Fall games begin in late-August and run through mid-November.

Organizational plans are being made for the 2024 Men’s Fall 3-Pitch Recreational Softball Leagues. The separate fall leagues will be played on Mondays from late August (August 19) to mid-November at Reisterstown Regional Complex, at Rts.140 and 795, near Tom Mitchell’s Golf Center. We will have a maximum eight teams in each league. Double-headers will start at 6:45. The regular season will run 7 weeks, with two extra weeks for play-offs and championships. All leagues are 3-Pitch format. Rainouts can be made up on regularly scheduled nights after the first double-headers have been played. 
  • Below you will find a team registration form, which must be completed and returned with the $325.00 non-refundable league cost before Tuesday July 30 and $395.00 after Tuesday July 30. 2024. 
  • Umpire costs are expected to be $22.50 per team/game or $45.00 per doubleheader. Balls will be provided by the league. Additional softballs are available for purchase.

Spring 2024

For Spring 2024 -- pay your fees by April 1, 2024 to reserve your spot and receive a $100 discount.
League fees are due at time of registration $375.00 before April 1 and $475.00 on or after April 1.  Checks are to be made payable to: LTRC.
 
Fall 2024
After August 1, 2024
For Fall 2024 -- pay your fees before July 30, 2024 to reserve your spot and receive a $100 discount.
League fees are due at time of registration $325.00 before July 30 and $395.00 on or after July 31.  Checks are to be made payable to: LTRC.

No team will be admitted to the league until ALL fees are paid. 
  • The league fees cover 1 dozen softballs, bases, field maintenance, league equipment and awards.  Each league will be limited to 6 teams.
  • Tom will communicate primarily by email, so I need an email contact for your team. If you don’t have an email
    address, please try to pick an assistant on the team with an email address to facilitate communication.  Please adjust
    your spam filters to allow for free communication.
  • Umpire fees are to be paid before each doubleheader $45.00 per team/per doubleheader for both Men’s 3-Pitch and Co-Ed doubleheaders.
  • League rules are available on request and will be distributed at the league meeting. Time limits will keep us at 6 innings, 3 pitch format games. League rules will be strictly enforced.
  • A league meeting will be held April 22, 2024 at the Seminary Park Pavilion. Important information, including league finances, forfeit policy, rules, and umpires, will be discussed at this meeting. It is mandatory that you have a representative at this meeting. The meeting will begin at 7:00pm for all programs.
  • Leagues are expected to begin is the week of Monday April 29 or May 6, 2024. If you have any questions, call or email Tom Harrington.           
Other Notes
Baltimore County Parks have an alcohol and smoke free policy throughout the facility fields and parking areas. The program rules prohibit any alcohol use. Teams are expected to comply with and enforce these policies for their participants.
