• Early Bird Registration for returning players only opens February 1st
• Early Bird Registration for new players opens March 1st
• Early Bird Registration ends March 31st.

Players who have not played for LTRC in the past will not be able to register during the returning player registration period.

After the returning player registration period, roster spots are filled on a first come first serve basis. Returning players are not guaranteed a roster spot if they fail to register during the returning player registration period. 

Registration Cost

There is a $25 discount for players who register during the Early Bird Registration period. Registration will return to the full fee on April 1st, 2024.

$225 - Early Bird registration (between February 1st and March 31st, 2024)
$250 - Registration (after March 31st, 2024)

Payment is due at the time of registration. There is a  credit card online payment option for your convenience.

League and Team Placement

The LTRC Knights compete in the Upper Chesapeake Youth Football League (UCYFL). There are no weight restrictions for players in ANY of the age groups. Players are allowed to play all positions without restrictions.   

Team placement is based on a player’s age as of August 1, 2024. LTRC fields teams at 8-U, 9-U, 10-U, 11-U, 12-U, and 14-U.  Players are placed in the youngest age division that their age will allow. If you would prefer for  your player to  play "up" an age division, you must contact us at luthervilleknights@gmail.com to discuss your reasoning. Not all requests to play "up" will be granted.

Note: Players who are 14 must be in middle school. High School students are not permitted to participate in the UCYFL.  14-year-old players who turn 15 during 2024 are also not permitted.

Equipment Information

All equipment excluding cleats, a protective cup, and a practice jersey are provided by LTRC football. That includes game pants, game jerseys, practice pants, helmets, shoulder pads, pants and  pads and mouth pieces. This equipment is included in the price of registration. It is issued prior to the first practice and must be returned to the LTRC at the conclusion of the season.

Practice Information

Practice for LTRC youth football begins on or around August 1st, 2024. The teams practice up to 4 nights per week in the evenings during the month of August (Monday-Thursday). Once the season starts (around the last Saturday in August) teams will practice 2-3 nights per week. Games are on Friday nights or Saturdays (at varying times).

Refund Policy

Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Any refund that is issued will be subject to an administrative processing fee of $20.00. No refunds will be issued after practices have begun.
