Program Information

Westminster Baseball Association will support Full-time Travel Baseball for the upcoming baseball seasons. Travel baseball is competitive in nature and requires a high-level commitment from coaches, players and parents. Players are expected to attend all team gatherings, practices, games, etc. Please contact manager(s) about specific expectations.

The "Westminster Vipers" participate in the Mid-Atlantic Baseball Association (MABA) and travel in and around the Baltimore Metro area. For Spring 2019, three full-time travel age divisions will be supported, 12U, 14U and 16U. The 16U team will also participate in fall baseball for Fall 2018.

The JV (16U) Vipers will be holding individual and small group tryouts for the Fall 2018/ Spring 2019 team during early August.
Players must be going into the Freshman or Sophomore year of high school.
Please follow the registration link onwww.leaguelineup.com/westminstervipersbaseball to provide your information to Coach Brilhart.
Any player who has played with another MABA team must provide a completed Player Transfer/Release Notification prior to a tryout.
Coach Brilhart will contact you directly for dates and times of tryouts.

Tryouts for Spring 2019 will be held at Winters Mill High School:
•  Saturday, July 28 th from 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Cost for 14U will be $625
Contact Coach Shane Taylor directly for any questions or concerns about making the try-out date.

12U – Chris Hunt, Manager (email: sbcoach21@hotmail.com)
Tryouts for Spring 2019 will be held at Avondale Field (Tahoma Farm Road and N. Burningtree Drive) on the following dates:
•  Tuesday, August 7, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
•  Sunday, August 12, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
•  Tuesday, August 14, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
•  Sunday, August 19, 1:00pm – 3:00p
•  Rain Date/ Extra if needed - Tuesday, August 21, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Players will be required to attend 2 try-outs and if anyone cannot make 2 try-outs they can email Chris directly to try to set up another time for an individual try-out but they must contact Chris directly.

Tryouts for Spring 2019 will be held at Bennett Cerf Field on the following dates:
•  Thursday August 2, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
•  Saturday August 4, 10:00am to 12:00pm
•  Wednesday August 22, 6:30pm to 8:00pm
•  Saturday August 25, 10:00am to 12:00pm
Players will be required to attend 2 try-outs and if anyone cannot make 2 try-outs they can email Coach George directly to try to set up another time for an individual try-out but they must contact Coach George directly.
