The first Taylor Cunningham Memorial Scholarship was awarded in 2006. Taylor was a senior at Hereford High School when he died in an automobile accident. Taylor loved sports and was very involved with his community. He believed in giving back to others and making people smile.

Eight years later in 2014, Taylor’s Tribe was created to continue fundraising for the Scholarship Fund. The goal of Taylor’s Tribe is to give back to the community that was so important to Taylor.

Our mission is to support the Hereford community in the following ways:

• Award scholarships to Hereford High School seniors who have played sports, been involved in their school and community, and show financial need.
• Award scholarships to the Hereford Zone Rec program to provide the opportunity for children who show financial need to participate in sports programs.
• Provide financial means for Hereford Zone children in order for them to participate in activities.
• Support the Hereford community.
