The North Carroll Boys Lacrosse Program operates in the Spring and is sponsored by NCRC, in cooperation with the Carroll County Department of Recreation.  NC Boys Lax is a true recreational league for boys, and girls who prefer contact lacrosse, ages 4 to 14.

To provide an opportunity for young athletes to experience and learn the great game of lacrosse by learning the fundamentals, working as a team, and good sportsmanship.

Winning comes later…
Our philosophy is that when athletes love the game and learn how to work as a team – winning comes naturally.  Our focus is on the athletes developing their skill, learning the rules of the game, and then coaching them on how to apply it, while playing as a team.

Our program wants everyone to have the opportunity to play lacrosse and we understand the sport can be expensive.  Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding equipment.  We have resources for used or borrowed items, and happy to connect families together.

Never Played?  Want to try it out for FREE?
Come out to Coppermine 4 Seasons on January 30, 2022 from 4:30-5:30pm and give lacrosse a try – AND we can provide equipment if needed!

For those who want to try it out, or for those not already registered, you must register for this night.  Registration for this night is shown below.

Practices & Games
Our Home Field is located at Cape Horn.  Practices begin in March.  Games begin around the first part of April, and end around June, based off playoffs.

Pockets Team
Practice is held on a weeknight.  The exact location is chosen at the beginning of the season within the Hampstead/Manchester area.  The Practice time will be set by the individual coach, but for this age group we would like to limit it to one hour and would not start till after 5:30pm.  All games will be one hour on Sundays.  In-house games will always be at our Home Field, at Cape Horn.  Away games could be at other locations within Southern Carroll County.

Tyker/Lighting/Midget/Junior Teams
Practices will be held on weeknights at various fields in the Hampstead/Manchester area. Practice times will be set by individual coaches and usually begin after 5:30pm, running for 1 to 2 hours.

All players will compete with their team in approximately ten games during the season. This allows for development, along with a little competition. In some cases, there could be a playoff season which extends the normal season by approximately 2 weeks.
