LTRC Summer Art Camp
Build, Paint, Play at Creative Summer Art Camp 2025 with Ms. Raine Valentine, art teacher at Ridgely Middle School & Elizabeth Hernandez, art teacher at Stoneleigh Elementary School.
Program Description:
Material Explorers is a vibrant, process-based summer art camp designed to inspire and empower young artists through hands-on exploration of diverse art materials. This innovative program emphasizes creativity, self-expression, and the joy of discovery. Each session is rooted in the belief that every child is an artist, and that through open-ended exploration, they can unlock their unique creative potential.
Mission:
To nurture creativity, confidence, and curiosity in youth through meaningful engagement with art materials, contemporary artistic practices, and collaborative learning in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Goals:
- To provide youth with rich, hands-on experiences that develop creative thinking, problem-solving, and artistic skills.
- To foster a love for the visual arts and encourage individual expression.
- To create a safe, inclusive space where children feel free to experiment, take risks, and connect with others through the creative process.
- To strengthen community bonds through collaborative artmaking and public showcases.

Dates:
- Session 1 - July 7th-11th,2025
- Session 2 - July 14th-18th, 2025
- Session 3 - July 21st-25th, 2025
- Session 4 - August 4th-8th, 2025
Times:
9am – 3pm with Early Bird drop off 8:15am.
Ages:
Must be going into 4th-9th grade in the Fall of 2025.
Registration fee:
Early registration $350 before June 1st, After June 1st $400 (PER SESSION).
Early bird drop off at 8:15am additional $50 PER WEEK.
REFUND POLICY
NO refunds will be issued and no discounts are offered.
