Age Determinations for Spring 2023

CMRC is a member of the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) and their guidelines for age groups are determined based on the player’s age as of 8/31/2022. Therefore, birthdate pre-empts grade. Player divisions as follows:

Boys | Girls Soft Stick Program (Pre-K)
Ages 3-4 (DOB: 9/1/17-8/31/19)

Boys | Girls Clinic (K and 1st)
Ages 5-6 (DOB: 9/1/15-8/31/17)

Boys | Girls Tykers (2nd and 3rd)
Ages 7-8 (DOB: 9/1/13-8/31/15)

Boys | Girls Lightning (4th and 5th)
Ages 9-10 (DOB: 9/1/11-8/31/13)

Boys | Girls Middies (6th and 7th)
Ages 11-12 (DOB: 9/1/09-8/31/11)

Boys | Girls Juniors (8th and 9th)
Ages 13-14 (DOB: 9/1/07-8/31/09)

Registration Costs

Soft Stick - $50 per player (includes jersey/ t-shirt)
Clinic - $100 per player (includes jersey/ t-shirt)
Tyker, Lightning, Middies, Junior - $200 per player

$25 discount will be applied to same-faily siblings after the first fully-paid registration

• Please Note: Uniforms are only required for TYKER and UP.  Additionally, uniforms are ONLY required to be purchased if you are a NEW player or your player needs a different size for 2023.

Age Group Evaluations

We will be holding Rec team evaluations in late Feb/early Spring. Evaluations are used to create competitive teams for the MYLA league. Dates and locations will be determined and communicated soon. 

Refund Policy

All refunds are subject to a $10 administrative fee to cover our costs.
