Details for Spring 2025

CMRC is a member of the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (MYLA) and their guidelines for age groups are determined based on the player’s age as of 8/31/2024. Therefore, birthdate pre-empts grade. Player divisions as follows:

Boys Soft Stick Program (Pre-K)

• Ages 3-4 (DOB: 09/01/2019 thru 08/31/2021)
• $50 per player (includes jersey/t-shirt); Saturday mornings for 1 hour, April-May

Boys Clinic (K and 1st)

• Ages 5-6 (DOB: 09/01/2017 thru 08/31/2019)
• $100 per player (includes jersey/t-shirt); One week day practice and Saturday mornings- April- May

Boys Tykers (2nd and 3rd)

• Ages 7-8 (DOB: 09/01/2015 thru 08/31/2017)
• $200 per player + *uniform fee*- 2 practices per week and MYLA league games played on weekends. – Begins first week of March*
• Team also plays in an end of season tournament “Lax Splash”, some teams have the option to play in Beach Lax* as well (may include additional cost*)

Boys Lightning (4th and 5th)

• Ages 9-10 (DOB: 09/01/2013 thru 08/31/2015)
• $200 per player + *uniform fee*- 2 practices per week and MYLA league games played on weekends. – Begins first week of March*
• Team also plays in an end of season tournament “Lax Splash”, some teams have the option to play in Beach Lax* as well (may include additional cost*)

Boys Middies (6th and 7th)

• Ages 11-12 (DOB: 09/01/2011 thru 08/31/2013)
• $200 per player + *uniform fee*- 2 practices per week and MYLA league games played on weekends. – Begins first week of March*
• Team also plays in an end of season tournament “Lax Splash”, some teams have the option to play in Beach Lax* as well (may include additional cost*)

Boys Juniors (8th and 9th)

• Ages 13-14 (DOB: 09/01/2009 thru 08/31/2011)
• $200 per player + *uniform fee*- 2 practices per week and MYLA league games played on weekends. – Begins first week of March*
• Team also plays in an end of season tournament “Lax Splash”, some teams have the option to play in Beach Lax* as well (may include additional cost*)

Family Discount: $25 discount will be applied to same-family siblings after the first fully-paid registration. 

*Uniforms*

Boys uniform Costs are only required for TYKER, LIGHTNING, MIDDIES, and JRs. 

• Additionally, uniforms are ONLY required to be purchased if you are a NEW player or your player needs a different size for 2025. 
• If you have your Tyker/Lightning Blue uniform from last year, DON'T buy another uniform.
• If Uniform is Needed, you must manually select the options on the Registration Form:
  • Blue Porthole uniform = $35
  • Uniform Shorts = $25

Age Group Evaluations

We will be holding Rec team evaluations in EARLY MARCH. Evaluations are used to create competitive teams for the MYLA league. Dates and locations will be determined and communicated soon.
