The mission of the Jarrettsville Recreation Council is to promote, develop and maintain public recreation programs and activities in the Jarrettsville and North Bend communities in cooperation with the Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Jarrettsville Recreation Council meets on the first Thursday of each of the following months at 7:00 at the North Bend Elementary School in Jarrettsville: January, March, May, July, September and November. All members of the Jarrettsville and North Bend communities are welcome to attend the general meetings of the council.
