Programs Offered

Westminster Baseball Association offers the following opportunities for area youth to play baseball:

SPRING BASEBALL

The following leagues are available for Spring Baseball, with your child playing in the league based on their age as of April 30 of the current year. ***Note days of games and practices for younger ages

Season will run from the middle of April to the end of June with the playoffs for the Minors and up age groups.

• T-ball – Practice one day a week and one game a week on Saturdays. Practices can be any day of the week based on Manager’s availability. Practices will be at Friendship Valley Elementary School T-Ball Field and area along Gist Road. Season to end near the end of school.
  
  
• Instructional – Practice and play games between Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with Saturdays always being a game day. There will be one game during the week on either Tuesday or Thursday and the other day will be a game. Practices will be between City Park and Friendship Valley Elementary School. Games will be at Friendship Valley Fields. Season to end near the end of school.

• Minors – Practices and play games between Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays. Saturdays will always be a game day. There will be one game during the week and one practice during the week between the Monday and Wednesday with maybe a game or two on Friday’s nights. Practices and games will be between Bennett Cerf Park, Friendship Valley Elementary School, and City Park. The Minors will play 12 Season games and then playoffs to follow with everything finishing about a week after school is over.

• Majors – Play games with Manchester with one practice during the week and one game during the week. Saturdays will always be a game day. Majors will have 12 games for the season and end near the last week of school with playoffs to follow and with tournament team playing into July.

• 14U (13-14) Will play on a 90-foot field.

  *NEW* Will play with Babe Ruth in the 14U.  Home games and practices will be at Landon Burns field.  Time and days will depend on coaches’ availability and the scheduling with FCBR for the season.

•  16U (15-16) Will play on a 90-foot field.

  *NEW* Will play with Babe Ruth in the 16U. Home games and practices will be at Landon Burns field.  Time and days will depend on coaches’ availability and the scheduling with FCBR for the season.

•  18U (17-18) Will play on a 90-foot field.

  Will not charge at the time of registration.  Looking to see if we can get enough players for a team.  This age would also play with FCBR, and home games would be at Landon Burns. Time and days will depend on coaches’ availability and the scheduling with FCBR for the season. 

FALL BASEBALL

The following leagues are available for Fall baseball, with your child playing in the league based on their age as of April 30 of next year.

• Instructional/Minors
• Minors/Majors
• 13 and Up

Cost is $100.00 to $200.00 per player (Depending on the age group for which they are registered)
