Winter Skills Clinic Information

Continuing in 2024, the Winter Skills Clinic is hosted by Parkville Pride Travel Softball in conjuction with the Parkville Recreation Council.

Do not delay in taking advantage of this great opportunity to warm up and get ready for the upcoming Spring Softball Season. This is also a chance for high school-aged girls to get ready for their upcoming try-outs.

PITCHING CLINIC

The Pitching Clinic will be on Saturdays from January 6, 2024 through February 10, 2024 from 1:30-4:30pm.
(February 17 and February 24 are reserved as inclement weather make-up dates)

$100.00 per participant

Ages
Players must be between 7-18 as of December 31, 2023 (born between 01/01/2005 and 12/31/2016).

Space Is Limited!
We only have room for 10 for each time slot - so it is first come, first served.

Clinic Details

• 6 - 1hr. 15min. Sessions with two inclement weather dates
• Ages 7-12 from 1:30pm - 2:45pm (10 slots available) Waiting list available
• Ages 13-18 from 3:00pm - 4:15pm (10 slots available) Waiting list available
• 2 - Parkville Pride Pitching Coaches on site
• Participants must provide their on catcher and wear tennis shoes only
• All catchers 18yrs. old or older must complete Background Check
• Parents if you are catching your kid you still have to be background checked
• Parents feel free to bring your own bucket to sit on
• Only Pitchers, Catchers, and Instructors shall be allowed in the gym during the clinic sessions

Background Check must be completed 2 weeks prior to the start of camp for those volunteering that are 18+.

SKILLS CLINIC

The Skills Clinic will be on Sundays from January 7, 2024 through February 11, 2024 from 3:30pm-7:30pm.
(February 18 and February 25 are reserved as inclement weather make-up dates)

Clinic Details

• 6 - 2hr. sessions with two inclement weather dates
• Ages 7-12 from 3:30pm-5:30pm Session 1 (40 slots available)
• Ages 13-18 from 5:30pm-7:30pm Session 2 (40 slots available)
• All participants must wear tennis shoes, bring a glove and water bottle.
• Fielders mask strongly encouraged for all participants
• Closed gym instruction - parents not permitted to be in the gym during the clinic
• Instructors will be Parkville Pride Travel Coaches
• Learn the Fastpitch Softball the Parkville Pride way!
  • Indoor Batting Tunnel
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • Hitting, Infield, Outfield, Catching, Baserunning, Agility and Conditioning Drills.

COMBINE AND SAVE!

Save $40 ($160 total) if the player registers for BOTH clinics.

Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, we will follow the Baltimore County Public School closing and delays policy. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to make up any canceled sessions, but we will make every attempt to make up any sessions that are canceled due to weather. Refund Policy
